With the COVID-19 global pandemic we are offering some special free shipping rates for our customers ordering online.  Free shipping is available via. CouriersPlease and is 100% carbon neutral 🌱

Running a brewery at our small scale is difficult when we don't have a venue or tap room for our customers to visit.  We appreciate all our customers that support us by purchasing beer directly from the brewery.

Shipping Policy

Effective on November 5, 2019

The following outlines our shipping policy at Currumbin Valley Brewing for our online store.  

At the farmhouse brewery we cold store all our packaged beer to ensure the best shelf life and we recommend that when customers receive their order they also keep their beer refridgerated.  In our experience, shipping beer over a short time at ambient temperatures won't cause any significant quality issues.  It is however best to keep your beer cold when you receive it.

We use three different courier and shipping companies as of November 2019, Australia Post, CouriersPlease and TNT.  During the checkout you can select from your desired preference.  We currently ship beer to the following states:

Queensland, New South Wales (inc. ACT), South Australia, Western Australia and Victoria.

Unfortunately at the moment we don't ship our beer to the Northern Territory or Tasmania.  We are also unable to ship Internationally at the moment.  Support your local brewery and drink fresh.

Expected Delivery Times

We ship orders out Monday and Tuesday each week (excluding Queensland public holidays).  All orders placed before 12 noon on Tuesday will ship that same week.  We don't ship orders out interstate on Wednesday, Thursday and Friday as most likely your beer will end up sitting in a warehouse over the weekend.  While this doesn't guarantee that won't happen to your order, it gives it the best chance of your package arriving before the weekend.

Local orders to Brisbane and the Gold Coast will typically be sent out Monday through Thursday depending on the ETA of the select carrier.

Packaging / Combining Boxes

To ensure you receive the best possible shipping rate, we will combine certain orders into a single box.  For example, 2 x 4-packs will be combined into an 8-pack box.  4 x 4-packs will be combined into a 16-pack box.  If you'd like to purchase a mixed case, simply add 4 x 4-packs to your order.  Due to weight restrictions, we can't combine multiple 16-pack boxes.

100% Carbon Neutral 🌱

Effective 4 March 2020, all our deliveries with CouriersPlease, TNT and Fastway will be carbon neutral.  Through the use of our shipping platform, we measure how much carbon is generated by our courier partners from the moment a parcel is picked up to when it's delivered.  Based on this calculation, our shipping platform then purchasses carbon offsets to support projects that prevent and reduce greenhouse gas emissions by the same amount to achieve net-zero emissions overall.

Missing or Damaged Orders

If you haven't received your order within 10 business days then please email Luke at [email protected]  Sometimes courier companies and even Australia Post can mess up orders and send parcels on the wrong routes, or they might not treat your parcel of beer nicely.
